HR Officer - Employee Relations Specialist

About you

  • Associate CIPD qualification
  • Two years' experience providing advice and guidance on HR policies and processes
  • Two years' experience managing disciplinary, grievance, and absence cases
  • Ability to work as part of a team to improve service quality and support colleagues

What you'll do

  • Manage HR and employee relations issues in accordance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements (e.g., disciplinary, grievance, capability, attendance)
  • Undertake investigations related to personnel matters
  • Assist with development and management of HR procedures, record keeping, and reporting
  • Coordinate responses to requests under legislation such as freedom of information and data protection
  • Liaise with department managers and provide expert advice on sickness absence and Occupational Health
  • Prepare absence management reports for case review panels
