HR Officer - Employee Relations Specialist

About you

  • Associate CIPD
  • Two years' experience in providing advice and guidance on HR policies and processes
  • Two years' experience in managing disciplinary, grievance, and absence procedures
  • The ability to work as part of a team, aiming to improve service quality and support colleagues to achieve better results

What you'll do

  • Ensure HR and employee relations issues are managed effectively according to policies, procedures, and legislative requirements (e.g., disciplinary, grievance, capability, attendance)
  • Undertake investigations related to personnel matters
  • Assist with developing and managing procedures, record-keeping, and reporting activities regarding HR matters
  • Coordinate responses to requests under legislation such as freedom of information and data protection
  • Liaise with managers and provide expert advice on sickness absence and Occupational Health
  • Prepare absence management reports for case review panels
