HR Officer - Employee Relations Specialist

About you

  • Associate CIPD
  • Two years' experience in providing advice and guidance on HR policies and processes
  • Two years' experience in managing disciplinary, grievance, and absence procedures
  • The ability to work as part of a team to improve service quality and support colleagues

What you'll do

  • Ensure HR and employee relations issues are effectively managed in accordance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, attendance, etc.
  • Undertake investigations related to personnel matters.
  • Assist with development and management of procedures, record keeping, and reporting on HR matters.
  • Coordinate responses to requests under legislation such as freedom of information and data protection.
  • Liaise with department managers and provide expert advice on sickness absence and Occupational Health.
  • Prepare absence management reports for review panels.
