About you

  • Associate CIPD
  • Two years' experience in providing advice and guidance on HR policies and processes
  • Two years' experience in the management of disciplinary, grievance and absence
  • The ability to work as part of a team with the aim of improving the quality of service provided and providing support to colleagues to achieve improved results.


What you'll do

  • Ensure that human resource and employee relations issues for the department are effectively managed and applied in accordance with policies and procedures and to ensure that the relevant timescales and legislative requirements are met e.g. disciplinary, grievance, capability, attendance and other relevant procedures
  • Undertake investigations in relation to specific personnel matters.
  • Assist with the development and management of all procedures, record keeping and reporting activities with regard to human resources matters.
  • Assist with the co-ordination of responses within relevant timeframes, to requests under e.g. freedom of information and data protection legislation
  • Liaise with department managers and offer expert advice on sickness absence and Occupational Health.
  • Prepare absence management reports for presentation at case review panels.
