We are seeking an HR Officer - Employee Relations Specialist for an exciting contract opportunity in the public sector. This role offers the chance to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment, working independently with support from an experienced HR team.

About you:
  • Associate CIPD qualification

What you'll do:
  • Manage human resource and employee relations issues in accordance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements, including disciplinary, grievance, and attendance matters
  • Undertake investigations into personnel matters
  • Assist in developing and managing procedures, record keeping, and reporting related to HR
  • Coordinate responses to requests under legislation such as freedom of information and data protection
  • Liaise with department managers on sickness absence and Occupational Health issues
  • Prepare absence management reports for case review panels
