Job description

This
role is fully site-based five days a week, requiring a presence at Stamford
Bridge Hotel at Chelsea Football Ground.

In this
fixed-term HR Officer/Advisor role, you will offer practical, consistent, and
proactive support and advice on HR procedures, policies, best practices, and
employment legislation to the team at Stamford Bridge Hotel. The ideal
candidate will bring independent and energetic professionalism to the role,
engaging with learning, training and team spirit.

You will work closely with
both the hotel team (onsite) and HR teams (offsite), engaging with a wide array of business stakeholders to support the hotel through exciting day-to-day tasks and projects.

  • Responsible
    for providing support to the business on recruitment, selection and
    induction
  • Oversees
    monthly payroll process ensuring personnel are paid accurately and on time
  • Conducts
    classroom-based training and engagement activities
  • Provides
    briefings, training and coaching to managers on the effective implementation of
    policies and procedures and in managing employee relations issues
  • Supports
    the implementation of rewards and benefits, including annual bonuses, pensions
    and flex benefits
  • Ensures
    HR databases and systems are accurately maintained and updated
  • Establishes
    and maintains key relationships with external clients and service providers
  • Ensures
    that the HR department functions in accordance with Company standards, budgets
    and audit requirements at all times

To
be successful in the role you will have:

  • Great
    communication skills and the ability to forge strong relationships
  • Effective
    communication skills and ability to adapt communication to a range of audiences
  • Ability
    to influence and persuade at senior management level, through effective
    stakeholder engagement
  • Capacity
    to identify & react promptly to impacts within the industry
  • Organisational
    skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
  • Ability
    to oversee and manage end-to-end payroll (experience with Harri is
    advantageous)
  • Prior
    experience with HR Information Systems, preferably with global system of
    Workday
