About Our Client

I'm recruiting for a HR Officer to join a Public Sector organisation. This is a contract till the end of December.
21 hours per week (0.6 WTE). Immediate start following a one stage interview process. Based in West Midlands, mainly home based with some travel as and when required. Salary is £35,000 - £42,000 FTE

  • Looking for an HR professional with hands-on experience managing both collective and individual redundancy consultations.
  • Comfortable in sensitive, 1:1 conversations, ensuring legal compliance and fairness throughout.
  • Including designing objective selection criteria, leading legally compliant consultation meetings, and exploring alternatives to dismissal throughout the process.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Officer should have:

  • A solid understanding of HR processes, employment law, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience managing both collective and individual redundancy consultations.
  • Comfortable in sensitive, 1:1 conversations, ensuring legal compliance and fairness throughout.
  • Navigate ACAS-compliant redundancy processes, engaging stakeholders early and meaningfully.
