Job Description

  1. Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including advertising vacancies, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  2. Handle employee relations issues such as grievances and disciplinary actions.
  3. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  4. Manage and process payroll in a timely manner.
  5. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching for performance improvement.
  6. Coordinate and conduct employee orientation and training programs.
  7. Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource requirements.
  8. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Officer should have:

  1. A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar HR role.
  3. Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.).
  4. Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures.
  5. Proficient in MS Office and HR software (HRIS or HRMS).
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  8. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
