Job description

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a dynamic role in a purpose-driven organisation? We’re seeking an HR Officer to join a local business on an 18-month fixed-term contract, where you'll provide both strategic and hands-on HR support within a highly regulated and fast-paced environment.

You’ll deliver timely, professional advice and guidance across all areas of HR, including employee relations, performance management, onboarding, and compliance. You’ll also lead on HR administration and reporting, helping shape a positive and supportive working culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide accurate and confidential HR advice to staff and management
  2. Support employee relations and ensure compliance with employment law
  3. Maintain and update policies, procedures, and internal HR systems
  4. Oversee onboarding, performance, and employee lifecycle processes
  5. Deliver regular HR metrics and identify areas for improvement
  6. Work collaboratively with Occupational Health and other external partners
What We’re Looking For:
  1. Proven experience in a generalist HR role
  2. Strong knowledge of current employment legislation
  3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  4. High attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion
  5. Self-motivated, organised, and confident working autonomously
