HR Officer

North Manchester

£34,000 per annum

This is a really exciting opportunity for someone looking to further their HR experience into Business Partnering. You will get bags of exposure in this role and there is an opportunity to really add value, contribute to ongoing improvements and get involved in projects as part of the wider HR team.

About the role:

Working as part of a HR team in a manufacturing setting, you will be the first point of contact for HR queries and will gain exposure to supporting staff across the full employee life cycle. Using a coaching approach, you will guide and advise managers on processes, with a view to upskill manager capabilities and identify any areas for training and development. You will be on hand to provide advice to managers on employee relations and ensure any grievances, disciplinary and absence/sickness, performance reviews are managed in the correct manner. There is an opportunity to contribute to improvements to policies and templates, to add value and bring new ideas of ways of working and ensure processes are effective.

About you:

You will be naturally confident and a clear effective communicator, someone that is able to build trust and strong relationships with stakeholders, but is also not afraid to push back. To be successful in this role you will need to have relevant HR experience working as a HR Advisor or a HR Officer, although applications will be considered from HR Assistants aspiring for that next step. Exposure to working in fast paced environment, ideally blue collar combined with a resilient approach will be a great fit for this role.

What is on offer:

Salary of £34,000 per annum

8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday with 1 day from home (flexibility on start/finish times)
