This is a really exciting opportunity for someone looking to further their HR experience into Business Partnering. You will gain significant exposure in this role and have the opportunity to add value, contribute to ongoing improvements, and get involved in projects as part of the wider HR team.

About the role:

Working as part of an HR team in a manufacturing setting, you will be the first point of contact for HR queries and will support staff across the full employee lifecycle. Using a coaching approach, you will guide and advise managers on processes, with the aim to upskill their capabilities and identify areas for training and development. You will provide advice on employee relations, ensuring grievances, disciplinary actions, absences, sickness, and performance reviews are managed appropriately. There is also an opportunity to contribute to policy and template improvements, bringing new ideas and ensuring processes are effective.

About you:

You should be confident, an effective communicator, and capable of building trust and strong relationships with stakeholders. You should also be comfortable pushing back when necessary. To succeed, you need relevant HR experience as a HR Advisor or HR Officer, though applications from HR Assistants aspiring to take the next step will also be considered. Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally in a blue-collar setting, and a resilient approach will be advantageous.

What is on offer:

  • Working hours from 8.30 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with one day from home (flexible start/finish times)
  • Defined contribution company pension scheme
  • Life Assurance
