Job description

HR Officer

We are seeking an HR Officer with strong HR administration and system skills to support our HR functions effectively.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide advice, support, and assistance to managers and staff to ensure consistent application and understanding of HR policies, processes, and employment terms.
  2. Manage processes related to the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and contractual administration.
  3. Support HR Advisors and Managers in achieving HR objectives and KPIs aligned with the organization's HR strategy.
  4. Serve as the first point of contact for HR inquiries, offering support or directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  5. Assist people managers with routine casework, recruitment, and training activities.
  6. Maintain online employee records within HR and payroll systems to meet statutory and reporting requirements.
  7. Coordinate with Payroll and Systems Officers to ensure seamless HR and payroll processes.
  8. Represent HR during local consultations on organizational changes under the guidance of HR leadership.
  9. Provide support in formal HR processes such as investigations and hearings.
Requirements
  • Prepared to study for or already possess a CPP/CIPD qualification with support.
  • Proven experience in an HR environment.
  • Experience with IT systems, preferably iTrent Payroll and HR system.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across the organization.
  • Understanding of the employee lifecycle, processes, and procedures.
