The Human Resources Officer is responsible for overseeing the HR function within a fast-paced retail environment. This role ensures compliance with employment legislation, manages HR policies and procedures, and provides support to staff and management on all HR-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and management.
  2. Provide guidance on employee relations matters, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling.
  3. Ensure compliance with employment law and best HR practices.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  5. Oversee recruitment and selection processes, including onboarding.
  6. Support performance management and employee appraisals.
  7. Assist in coordinating staff training and development initiatives.
  8. Advise management on HR policies and procedures.
  9. Promote fair employment practices and workplace equality.
  10. Monitor and report on HR metrics to support business objectives.
  11. Support health and safety compliance within HR-related areas.
  12. Stay updated on employment legislation and HR trends.

Qualifications & Experience Required
