An established industry player is looking for an experienced HR Officer to join their dynamic team, supporting a diverse portfolio of schools across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire. An experienced HR Officer is sought for a large Multi-Academy Trust comprising 27 academies across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire. This is a roving role covering Sheffield, Lincoln, Newark, and Worksop with regular travel to Nottingham, so a car driver is essential. There is potential flexibility for occasional homeworking.
The HR Officer will support a portfolio of schools in all areas of employee relations and support of compliance, audit, training, recruitment, and induction processes.
The successful HR Officer will be educated to GCSE level, or equivalent, in English and Maths, with a relevant Business/HR Administration qualification (e.g. CIPD level 5). Experience of a similar role within an educational setting is desirable, with working knowledge of HR systems (e.g. HRIS, payroll). You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience of managing data systems for reporting to management and other stakeholders.
We are seeking a highly organised, flexible, and approachable individual with excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask and prioritise. Due to the nature of the role, a driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential.
