  • Supporting the wider team with general HR queries and advice.

Yolk Recruitment is working with a forward-thinking manufacturing company in Neath. The client specialises in innovative and high-quality manufacturing solutions

They're now looking for an experienced HR professional to take the reins on all things people related. If you enjoy being hands-on in a standalone HR role where you can really make an impact, this could be just the move for you.

What you'll be doing:

This is a varied and important role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the full recruitment and onboarding process
  • Managing the company's appraisal system and conducting appraisal meetings
  • Making sure policies and procedures comply with employment legislation
  • Monitoring attendance, absence and performance across the team
  • Identifying training needs and delivering effective training programmes
  • Handling formal grievances and disciplinary matters
  • Supporting the wider team with general HR queries and advice

What experience you'll bring to the role:

  • Previous experience in a HR role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Confident handling employee relations matters
  • A proactive and approachable attitude - someone the team can trust and turn to
  • CIPD qualification would be beneficial, but experience is key

What you'll get in return:

  • Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am - 3.00pm
  • Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
