  • Job Type: Mon - Fri (0830 - 1600) - 35 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Officer to provide efficient and timely HR support services and advice at a beautiful Secondary School in Luton. This role is crucial in maintaining our commitment to high standards of staff management, in line with current employment law and best practices.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • HR Management: Oversee the HR functions, including employee relations, transactions, and maintaining statutory records.
  • Recruitment: Manage the recruitment process from advertising to onboarding, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and recruitment policies.
  • Staff Records: Maintain accurate staff records in the academy's MIS and ensure compliance with data protection laws.
  • Payroll and Remuneration: Manage the payroll system, ensuring all staff payments and contractual changes are processed accurately.
  • Policy Implementation: Lead on HR policies, ensuring they are updated and in line with current legislation.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate staff training sessions and maintain records of all training activities.

  • Experience: Proven experience in HR administration, preferably within the education sector.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
