Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in London is seeking an HR Officer to enhance their People Team. This role involves supporting HR operations, coaching managers on Employee Relations, and handling the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in HR practices and a passion for helping others. The position offers a salary up to £35,000, benefits including 22 days holiday, and the flexibility of working from home two days a week.

Job description

Are you proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about people? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same?

If so, we have an amazing business in Heathrow, London, who have instructed us solely to recruit an HR Officer for their growing People Team.

You will report into a fantastic HR Leader who will support and mentor you, who will not micromanage you, but be there for good counsel and advice.

This is more than just an administrative role it s a key position that will help to shape colleagues' experience from day one. You ll be the friendly face and steady hand supporting stakeholders across the business. Coaching and upskilling Managers in the business, especially with Employee Relations, which is a key part of this role. You will therefore be proficient and experienced in ER; investigations, taking minutes, grievances, disciplinaries and guiding Managers.

Knowledge of the full employee lifecycle is required, including; absence management, maternity, paternity and SSP workings for Payroll and HRIS knowledge.

Generally, you will ensure HR operations run smoothly and with heart.
