Role: HR Officer - Permanent - Enniskillen
Job Overview
VANRATH
is delighted to support a leading business in Enniskillen to recruit an HR Officer. You will be supporting key HR activities such as recruitment, absence tracking, and staff development-ensuring compliance and contributing to a positive, well-run workplace; As well as managing accurate and timely payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate recruitment and onboarding to ensure an effective and positive hiring experience.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, including contracts, leave, and personnel files.
  • Support performance management through appraisals, goal setting, and employee guidance.
  • Respond to employee enquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace matters.
  • Accurately process payroll in compliance with legal and company requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date payroll records and resolve payroll-related queries or discrepancies.
  • Prepare payroll and HR reports, and assist with internal and external audits.
  • Organise and monitor training activities, ensuring alignment with company needs and standards.

Essential Criteria:

  • A relevant third-level qualification, ideally in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and analyse information to support decisions
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels of the organisation
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when handling payroll data and employee records
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word for data management, communication, and documentation
  • Capable of working effectively under pressure while managing competing priorities
  • Maintains strict confidentiality when dealing with sensitive or personal information
  • Demonstrates a proactive and professional approach to work, supporting a high standard of service delivery
