Responsibilities

  • Management and administration of all aspects of Human Resources within the company.
  • Oversee and manage recruitment processes, including preparing job descriptions and adverts, shortlisting applications, managing interviews and appointments.
  • Onboard employees, including reference checks, new start documentation, right-to-work checks, issuing offer letters/contracts, and delivering induction training.
  • Plan, organise, and deliver training and development for staff.
  • Maintain ongoing training/skills analysis and develop training plans.
  • Manage payroll administration.
  • Handle employee absence and relations issues.
  • Support performance management processes.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistent implementation.
  • Maintain fair employment records and complete the fair employment monitoring return.
  • Assist with health and safety duties as required.
  • Perform any other duties as needed.

Fleming Agri Products has an excellent opportunity for a HR Officer to join a progressive and ambitious company that is developing global recognition for its exciting range of agricultural machinery.

The company is based in Newbuildings, Northern Ireland, and currently has over 100 employees working in a modern purpose-built factory. The company promotes a value-for-money product portfolio that is sold extensively throughout the UK, Ireland, and several significant export markets.

About The Role

As HR Officer, you will oversee and manage all aspects of Human Resources in the company, providing support and guidance for all HR activities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to drive business performance.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
