Job description

Purpose and objectives of the role

To provide support to the HR Department by maintaining HR records, supporting Managers with any Employee relation issues, preparing HR reports for the Managing Director, addressing basic HR queries, and assisting the HR Manager in various HR Projects.

This position is office based for 32 hours per week.

Hours can be worked between 08.00 - 17.00 Monday to Friday over 5 days.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related enquiries.
  • Manage the HR inbox effectively.
  • Chase Management on Return-to-Work Forms Provide support to the management team in conducting sickness absence reviews and facilitating referrals to occupational health services.
  • Offer advice and guidance on matters of employee relations.
  • Oversee the full recruitment cycle, which includes collaborating with agencies, posting job vacancies on job boards, scheduling interviews, following up with management for completed interview documentation, extending job offers, sending onboarding documents, carrying out employer reference checking, checking right to work documents.
  • Process employee departures.

  • Administer and maintain the HR information system, ensuring all data is current.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly HR reports for the Managing Director.
  • Assist in and contribute to various HR projects.
  • Experience of supporting disciplinary/ appeal/grievance meetings would be advantageous.
