Role: HR Officer - Permanent - Craigavon
Job Overview

are proudly supporting a well-established logistics company in their search for an HR Officer to support all areas of the business, while working closely with management.

  • Salary: £29,000 - £32,000
  • Full time, Permanent
  • Early Friday finish

What you'll do:

  • Serve as the primary contact for all HR-related enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee employee relations, including managing disciplinary and grievance procedures, ensuring consistent policy enforcement with management.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to line managers and team leaders on HR matters.
  • Assist with recruitment processes, from advertising roles and shortlisting candidates to conducting interviews and onboarding new hires.
  • Maintain up-to-date and compliant employee records within the HR system.
  • Accurately process weekly payroll in a timely manner.
  • Support external audits in coordination with the compliance team.
  • Ensure confidentiality is maintained in all HR and payroll activities.
  • Compile and present HR reports for monthly management meetings.
  • Represent HR during employee committee meetings.
  • Lead HR projects and enhancements to improve employee engagement and streamline systems.
  • Assist with upholding company Quality and Environmental standards as needed.

What you'll need:

  • 3+ years' experience in a generalist/officer HR role.
  • Relevant third-level qualification and/or CIPD qualification, or working towards one.
  • Experience handling employee relations matters.
  • Up-to-date understanding of employment legislation.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
