Job description

The role is for 3-4 months temping, possibly longer. We need someone to pick up operational issues, policy updates, sort out contracts and reappointments for workers, and get stuck into HR activities.

The HR Officer will provide high-quality human resource advice and support across the organisation in challenging and complex scenarios. Responsibilities include:

  • Recruitment and On-boarding
  • Leading recruitment and selection processes
  • Employee Relations
  • Providing operational advice to managers on HR issues
  • Supporting disciplinary and grievance processes
  • HR Reporting
  • Reviewing and drafting HR policies and procedures

Requirements include:

  • Experience of independent and cross-team working within an HR department
  • Qualified to a minimum of CIPD level 3
  • Working knowledge of employment law and legislation
  • Exposure to coordinating and managing the recruitment cycle
  • GDPR compliance experience with confidential and personal information
  • Familiarity with managing HR data analysis and producing reports

The role is mainly remote-based, with 4 days at home and 1 day in the office (near Chancery Lane) on Thursdays. The position offers 35 hours per week at £19.23 per hour (equivalent to £35,000 per year).
