A community support charity is seeking part-time HR Officers to join their Edinburgh office. The role offers flexible working hours and responsibilities include administrative support for the HR department. Due to a role restructure, we are now looking to appoint 2 part-time (18.5 hours) HR Officers to join our busy HR Department. With flexible hybrid working, from our Corstorphine, Edinburgh office, this could be the perfect role for you. This charity sector HR Officer position, offers you flexibility, accountability and job satisfaction in bucket loads.

You’ll be joining an established HR team, reporting directly to the Head of People, and working closely with another HR Officer, HR Business Partners, the Learning & Development Manager, and the Recruitment Business Partner.
We work flexibly as standard; you need to be within commutable distance of our Edinburgh office (EH12) as we work 50% of our time in the office and 50% from home. We’re open to discussing start and finish times that work around your life.

Job Purpose
To provide an effective and efficient administrative service to support the HR department and wider organisation. To support the wider HR function by providing advice, support, and training to people managers across the organisation.
What will you bring?
2 years’ experience in a similar role
Skilled in the use of all Microsoft Office products, with strong reporting and administrative skills.
IT Literate; able to learn new systems quickly.
An ability to demonstrate a commitment to our five values: Values
High level of self-motivation, able to meet several deadlines.
Excellent organisational & communication skills with great attention to detail.
Ability to work flexibly on your own initiative and as part of a team.
Up to date knowledge of employment law.
Desired Skills/Experience
CIPD Qualified.
Knowledge of the social care sector.
Understanding of HR systems, ideally iTrent.
Able to start with us quickly.
