A local council organization in Bridgend, Wales, is seeking to hire a full-time customer-focused team member for their pension function. Responsibilities include serving as the first point of contact for inquiries, ensuring efficient service, and handling various tasks associated with pensions. Candidates with experience in Pension/HR/Payroll environments and the ability to greet customers in Welsh are preferred. The role will support hybrid working arrangements.
Fixed Term up to 31 March 2026
Joining the pension team you will undertake a range of duties associated with the Authority's pension function, ensuring an efficient and effective service is provided.
Previous experience within a Pension/HR/Payroll environment together with the ability to use a variety of IT packages including Microsoft Office would be an advantage.
As the first point of contact for all Pension/HR/Payroll enquiries you must be customer focused and have an ability to convey information accurately and clearly.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.

The councils Hybrid Working Policy applies to this post. This provides a framework for establishing how you will undertake working hours between your home and the office.
