HR Officer
Scholars School System is a project of UK CURRICULUM & ACCREDITATION BODY (UKCAB, a registered charity founded in 2006) having campuses across the United Kingdom, is looking for a HR Officer across of all campuses which includes Birmingham, Manchester, London, Bradford and Leicester campus.
Scholars School System is a national independent higher education provider, offering world class education. Taught programmes, ranging from Foundation Year through to Level 7, delivered in partnership with institutions such as Leeds Trinity University. Over 5000 (UK and EU) learners have successfully completed their learning journey in the last five years with the current student population is over 3000.

Role Purpose
We are looking for an organised and reliable HR Officer to support day-to-day HR operations across all campuses. The role includes managing recruitment logistics, onboarding processes, staff records, and ensuring policy compliance. This is a hands-on position that requires accuracy, discretion, and responsiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with end-to-end recruitment: job postings, CV screening, interview coordination
- Coordinate onboarding: issuing contracts, collecting documentation, managing induction
- Maintain and update employee records (digital and hard copy) in line with GDPR compliance
- Handle routine employee queries related to policies, pay, leave, and absence
- Track staff attendance, leave records, and probation reviews
- Draft HR documentation: offer letters, references, changes to terms
- Support with compliance checks (e.g., right to work, DBS)
- Liaise with department heads to identify staffing gaps and coordinate cover
- Assist with internal audits, reports, and policy reviews as required
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold safeguarding standards in all areas
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining staff files
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a generalist HR role
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Experience working with HR systems or CRM
- Ability to handle sensitive information professionally
Salary & Benefits
- £25,400 -£30,000 per year, depending on experience
- 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Up to £5,000 in annual performance-based incentives, paid quarterly upon meeting KPIs and successful probation
- 5% annual salary increase after each year of service (subject to KPIs)
