HR Manager

VANRATH Exclusive Role

VANRATH is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a highly successful private sector business, who service the NI, ROI and UK markets, to appoint a new HR Manager, on a full-time permanent basis.

Reporting to the MD, the HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing the HR function for a multi-site business with offices in NI and ROI.

Responsibilities

  • Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Deal with all disciplinary matters including litigation
  • Managing the recruitment and selection process
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee, review, manage and implement a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Implement a structured pay plan and benefits program
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
  • Deliver HR training modules with key managers
  • Deliver a comprehensive HR induction programme for all new employees
  • Work with the Senior management team to create internal employee work groups and create a regular structured reporting/meeting structure
  • Ensure effective use of resources in order to cost effectively achieve internal and external excellence service levels with sustainable productivity

The Person

  • Degree in HRM or related subject and / or CIPD qualification
  • Experience in a Senior Advisory or Management level role, with a desire and willingness to develop your experience further in post
