HR Manager – Basingstoke (2–3 Month Contract)

Are you an experienced HR professional ready to make an immediate impact in a dynamic, global environment? We’re looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our team in Basingstoke on a short-term contract, supporting a business that plays a vital role in protecting products, identities, and revenues across the EMEA region.

�� About the Role As part of a collaborative and forward-thinking HR team, you’ll partner with leadership to drive talent strategy, employee engagement, and operational excellence. This is a hands-on role where your expertise in employee relations, performance management, and HR operations will be key to supporting a diverse and innovative workforce.

�� Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership on talent strategy, succession planning, and workforce development.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations issues and disciplinary processes.
  • Lead performance management initiatives and employee development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
  • Drive engagement through local and global initiatives.
  • Support HR systems and data integrity, recommending process improvements.
  • Collaborate with global HR colleagues to create efficiencies and share best practices.
What We’re Looking For
  • 8+ years of HR management experience, ideally in a matrixed, global organization.
  • Strong generalist background with experience in employee relations and HR operations.
  • Proven ability to manage grievances and disciplinary procedures.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Bonus: Experience in manufacturing environments and exposure to unions or collective bargaining.
  • CIPD or equivalent HR certification is highly desirable.
