About the Role
As the company's first point of contact for HR matters, the HR Manager will lead the delivery of core HR functions-ensuring a compliant, consistent, and people-focused approach across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and ongoing staff development. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes

Support line managers with performance management and employee development

Ensure HR policies are compliant with UK employment law

Handle employee relations matters including grievances and disciplinary actions

Lead succession planning and training initiatives

Maintain accurate digital HR records and promote a paperless approach

Provide day-to-day HR support and contribute to employee engagement strategies

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 5 years' experience in a generalist HR role

HND or Bachelor's degree in HR or Business Management

Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices

Confident advising managers and handling sensitive issues

Proactive, approachable, and highly organised

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to work independently and collaboratively

The Offer:

30 hours per week (permanent, part-time)
