Job Description:

My client are a SEND secondary school located in Grove Park, Lewisham and they are looking for a part time HR Manager to work 2 days a week. Salary : PO1 Working hours: 21 hours per week, term time only + 3 weeks (42 weeks per year in total). Part time 2 days per week 3 days would also be considered dependent on experience. Qualifications/Training (Essential) The successful candidate should have : 1. Education to a least a Level 3 Diploma and/or experience in a similar role. 2. Hold or working towards a HR qualification: - • CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) Level 5 qualification or above and/or CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) Chartered Membership • SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management - Senior Certified Professional) • Human Resources Undergraduate Degree and/or Master's Equivalent 3. Experience of using a wide range of ICT software, information systems in an administrative environment. Effective use of specialist ICT packages. 4. Excellent numeracy/literacy skills to at least Level 3 or equivalent experience. MAIN PURPOSE: The HR Manager • Is responsible for administration and management of all areas of human resources and recruitment as directed by School Business Leader, Headteacher and Deputies • Assists the School Business Leader providing responsive and proactive people-related advisory service to all employees, Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Governors on employment legislation, policies and procedures, conditions of service and best practice employment developments. • Is responsible for GDPR compliance across the school, ensuring associated policies are in place and staff are adhering to them. • Is responsible for the administration of the Single Central Record • Is responsible for the Staff Census Return More information is available on request.
