Due to our continued success, we are expanding and looking for a strategic and hands-on HR Manager to lead and scale our people operations, talent strategy, and organizational development.

Your Role

As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance. You will play a key role in building a strong company culture, enhancing employee experience, and aligning HR strategies with business goals across our Los Angeles headquarters, US operations, and Singapore office.

Key Responsibilities:

1 Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Partner with hiring managers to streamline the hiring process, ensuring a strong candidate experience.
  • Own end-to-end hiring for key roles, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
  • Lead workforce planning and succession planning to ensure the right talent is in place.

2 HR Strategy & Organizational Development

  • Drive HR initiatives related to performance management, promotions, talent reviews, and compensation planning.
  • Implement best-in-class onboarding and training programs to support employee success.
  • Identify learning & development opportunities, offering training or external resources as needed.
  • Collaborate with leadership to foster an inclusive, high-performance culture.

3 Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR policies and best practices.
  • Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance coaching.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and international labor laws (including US & Singapore).
  • Maintain HR records in compliance with data privacy and labor regulations.

4 Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations

  • Ensure competitive compensation & benefits aligned with industry standards.
  • Work with Finance to develop and manage the HR budget.
  • Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and HR systems to ensure smooth operations.
  • Regularly review HR policies and update as needed.

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in Human Resources, with experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR strategy.
  • Strong experience in hiring, coaching, and HR operations.
  • Knowledge of employment laws & compliance across the US (international experience is a plus).
  • Experience managing compensation, benefits, and HR technology platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Experience in beauty, consumer goods, or retail is a plus.
