Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join a well-established and leading law firm in Central London (Monument). This role will be 35hr week with 5 days a week in the office and pays £75,000.
Going through continued growth and expansion, my client is a leading UK solicitors firm with circa 50 offices across the UK.To be considered for this position you will be CIPD Level 5 qualified and ideally have previous professional services experience.
Managing a team of 2 HR Generalists, an L&D Coordinator, and a back-office HR team in India, you will be responsible for the oversight & support of all aspects of the HR function supporting circa 500 staff.
As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing HR reports and updates to Senior Management
  • Implementation of HR strategy and development of HR IT systems and processes
  • Managing & overseeing payroll
  • Overseeing and managing learning & development, including overseeing training activities and training requests
  • Managing the recruitment process and developing candidate pools for all positions, including succession planning
  • Overseeing the on-boarding, probation and appraisals process, and staff attendance and absence monitoring
  • Managing employment relations issues such as grievances & disciplinaries. Coaching and supporting supervisors, managers and directors through any staffing issues
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an HR Manager in a commercial, fast-paced environment, with excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage a large workload under pressure.
