Job description

HR Manager : 3:Month FTC

Location: Chester (4 days min on site)

Hours: 08:30 : 17:00 (flexability)

Salary: Up to GBP 55,000 + Car allowance + employee benefits program

We're recruiting an experienced HR Manager to provide short:term cover on a 3:month fixed:term contract. This role is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running in a fast:paced, complex environment, supporting senior stakeholders and overseeing on more complex employee relations matters.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Partnering with the HR Operations Partner to deliver effective HR support.
  • Supporting and leading on complex ER matters, supporting ER team leaders and managers.
  • Managing and improving absence performance and driving improvement plans.
  • Reviewing and updating policies in line with employment law.
  • Ensuring HR processes are compliant and effective.
  • Building relationships and working collaboratively with trade union representatives.
What We're Looking For
  • A proven HR professional with strong knowledge of employee relations and employment law.
  • Confident and experience working with trade unions and senior stakeholders.
  • Experienced in improving absence management and performance.
  • Able to adapt quickly, work autonomously, and provide pragmatic HR solutions.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
