HR Manager (Employee Relations)

  • Day rate: £200-210 per day depending on experience
  • Location: Heathrow (1 day from home)
  • Job Type: Temporary to permanent opportunity

Our client is seeking an HR Manager to join their busy HR team to head up their Employee Relations team, ensuring all cases are handled within their policies and procedures and line managers have contacts for all cases.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Managing a team of Employee Relations Advisors
  • Deal with and support on in-depth cases by providing expert advice and support to managers and employees on all aspects of the employee lifecycle
  • Ensure that the team is conducting thorough investigations into employee complaints and issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement employee relations strategies and initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture and enhance employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure alignment of employee relations practices with overall HR strategy and business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and advising on any necessary changes to company policies.
  • Deliver training and workshops to managers and employees on employee relations topics, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role.
  • CIPD qualification would be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail.

This role is an immediate start on a day rate with the opportunity to go permanent.
