I'm partnering with a well‑established, people‑focused organisation to recruit an experienced HR Manager to join their team on a 9‑month FTC. This role is ideal for a confident HR professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys building strong relationships with leaders, and is skilled at navigating complex employee relations matters. You'll be responsible for providing high‑quality HR support across multiple sites, leading on employee relations, driving people initiatives, and helping to embed a positive, high‑performing culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the performance management cycle across your region, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and supporting ongoing employee development.
  • Act as the go‑to expert for managers and senior leaders on complex, sensitive, and high‑risk employee relations issues.
  • Provide proactive HR support across the London, Midlands, and Northwest regions, managing all ER, performance, and general HR matters.
  • Support organisational change projects—including restructures, mergers, acquisitions, and TUPE—ensuring smooth transitions, compliance, and early identification of risks.
  • Coach and advise managers on conflict resolution, conduct, capability, and people leadership.
  • Monitor and report on ER metrics (e.g., grievances, disciplinaries, turnover), highlighting trends and recommending solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and updating of HR policies, ensuring compliance and best practice.
  • Ensure HR processes and initiatives are consistently implemented across regions, adapting approaches where needed.
  • Lead or support wider People & Culture projects as required.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • CIPD‑qualified (or equivalent).
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to navigate complex and sensitive situations.
  • Demonstrates discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
