Global HR Manager – 6 Month FTC – Stand Alone

Are you a seasoned HR professional with a passion for building HR functions from scratch in fast-paced, international startup environments? We’re looking for a Global HR Manager to join our ambitious, scaling startup and lay the foundation for our people operations across six European countries.

Requirements

  • Own the creation of compliant and user-friendly HR policies and procedures (e.g. Employee handbook, Referencing/Background screening, Employee Lifecycle policies)
  • Lead the development, and implementation of HR processes across the employee lifecycle
  • Support the setup of outsourced payroll provider in multiple countries
  • Support the setup of key benefits in multiple countries
  • Take ownership of processes including payroll, benefits management, vendor relationships etc.
  • Finalise employee contract templates
  • Support the roll out of Workday for EMEA
  • Partner with internal teams across Ops, Finance, Recruitment, IT, Marketing to establish key employee experience initiatives
  • Contribute to strategic people initiatives translating ideas into practical delivery plans.
  • Day-to-day HR related matters (contracts, visas, onboarding etc)

Background

  • HR Operations experience gained in an international organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll, benefits, and employment law.
  • Adaptable self-starter with the ability to work in a fast moving start-up environment.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
