Job description
Overview

A generalist HR role providing support and advice to operational management on a full range of HR matters. Driving organisational performance and facilitating the company's culture and values amongst managers and employees. Working across multisite locations in your area, you will work in partnership with our area directors, home managers and employees. Reporting into the HR Business Partner.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure an effective case management service is provided to the group.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the trade union and attend homes within the group to support HR issues.
  • Support operational management teams with and lead on change processes such as redundancies, consultations, home sales and closures.
  • Utilise organisational KPIs to drive activity in the group.
  • Be supported by the Human Resources Helpdesk at the Central Support Office and line manage the HR Advisor for the group.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Full or Part CIPD to level 5 qualification, driving license.
  • Multisite operations experience in a HR generalist environment.
  • Familiar with working within a unionised environment; health/social care experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication with outstanding influencing skills and strong commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, manage a high and complex workload, and make decisions.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor in a generalist role covering ER case work and change management including TUPE.
  • Safeguarding: ability to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do; complete safeguarding training and seek advice/report concerns as needed.

Other notes

This position is a fixed-term 12-month contract covering a large area in the South, with travel required around the South, South East & South West and possible travel to our head office.
