Human Resources Manager (permanent, part-time 21.75 hours per week) - Your future role?

As an HR Manager at Givaudan you will deliver and implement the local HR strategy to meet the needs of the site and act as the HR Business Partner for the local business functions.

You will be based in Overseal, UK and will report directly to the UK HR Director.

It is a part-time position 21.75 hours per week and we are flexible to considering working patterns and start and finish times; e.g. three full days per week or shorter hours over four or five days.

You will:

Support development and implementation of human resource strategies and programmes – local and global

Be a member of the site management team and work together with them providing advice on the best HR management practices

Use relevant data and reports to recommend policy and process solutions aligned with the HR strategy

Lead or support Corporate and Site projects at a local level

HR Management

Provide human resources generalist support to managers

Identify trends/issues that require resolution and provide solutions

Support managers in people management activities including involvement in performance management and the compensation review annual processes

Support managers in the talent acquisition process, ensuring the quality of people hired, the effectiveness of recruiting and selection techniques, and compliance with law requirements

Ensure fair and competitive positioning of salaries through internal equity and external market analysis

HR Processes

Contribute to the UK HR team

Promote effective and proactive use of people management practices and systems and provide value-added reporting enabling managers to make effective, fact-based, and timely decisions

Employee Relations

Provide employee relations advice to managers and employees

Manage Employee Relation issues

Support and coach HR colleagues and managers to understand and comply with relevant legislation and employee relations policies and practices

Legal & Compliance

Provide interpretation and guidance on human resources policies and employment law

Ensure organisational and legal compliance on matters of occupational health; in collaboration with occupational health, EHS and local management teams

Lead meetings and consultations with Works Councils

Your professional profile includes:

Ideally a university degree

Experience in a HR Manager or HR advisory role

A good working knowledge of UK employment law
