Job Description
As the most senior HR professional on site, you will:
- Lead, coach, and support a local HR team (including HR Business Partners and a Generalist).
- Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, ensuring alignment between people strategy and business goals.
- Take responsibility for all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, development, performance management, reward, and employee relations.
- Drive employee engagement and support a culture of continuous improvement.
- Implement global HR programmes at a local level, ensuring they're fit for purpose and fully embedded.
- Manage change initiatives and support the adoption of new systems, processes, and ways of working.
- Ensure legal compliance and uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Manager should have:
- Proven experience in human resources within the industrial/ manufacturing and production industry.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in using HR systems and tools to manage data effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- The ability to communicate clearly and build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Experience in managing or participating in organisational change initiatives.
- Available to work on site in the Stockport area.
