Job summary

Acorn by Synergie recruiting an experienced HR Manager for a leading global manufacturing business in South Molton. You will join the site leadership team, shaping people strategy, supporting operational leaders, developing employees and delivering an effective HR function in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong generalist HR experience in manufacturing, with knowledge of UK employment law, employee relations and talent development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HR Manager in manufacturing is essential.
• Strong generalist HR expertise supporting operational and manufacturing leaders.
• Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Proven experience in employee relations, coaching and stakeholder management.
• Experience leading and mentoring HR teams.
• Degree in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
• CIPD qualification or membership desirable.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and HR systems.
• Experience with Oracle HR would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leadership to deliver strategic and operational HR support.
• Lead, coach and develop the on-site HR team.
• Drive employee engagement, performance management and organisational development.
• Manage complex employee relations cases and provide HR guidance to managers.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and talent acquisition activities.
• Support succession planning, workforce planning and capability development.
• Manage compensation, benefits and performance review processes.
• Ensure compliance with UK employment law and HR policies.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, high-performing workplace culture.
