At Alexander Dennis, our vision is to lead the evolution of sustainable on-road mass transportation and mobility.

We design, deliver, and support market-leading buses and coaches that help reduce emissions, improve air quality, and keep communities connected. Every role contributes to that mission whether you’re engineering, driving sales, improving production, or supporting our customers.

What You’ll Do

You will support the delivery of required targets for Scarborough Operations by providing HR functional support to the site. You’ll develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and practices that align with operational and financial objectives, while creating an environment and culture that promotes team involvement and continuous improvement. You’ll also champion HR best practice and support AD Group HR activities as required.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced HR professional with 3–5 years in a senior HR role, preferably within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You’ll have strong leadership skills, experience managing complex ER cases, delivering organisational change, and working with Trade Unions in a heavily unionised environment. Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills are essential.

Bonus if you have
  • CIPD qualification
  • Experience managing large-scale change projects and culture transformation initiatives

  • Culture & Belonging: An inclusive environment; your voice matters; we treat people fairly.
  • Perks & Benefits: Competitive salary, pension, wellbeing support, cycle to work scheme, enhanced maternity and paternity benefits.
