Job summary

Routes Healthcare in Rochdale is seeking an HR Manager who will oversee daily HR operations and lead employee relations within the team. You will support performance management processes and ensure compliance with UK employment law.

What we're looking for
  • CIPD Level 5 or above, or equivalent experience in a senior HR role
  • A proven track record in HR management, ideally within healthcare or social care
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application
  • Experience managing complex employee relations matters with diplomacy and discretion
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation
  • A data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A master\'s degree in HR or Organisational Psychology would be a big bonus
Your Typical Day To Day Will Include
  • Overseeing daily HR operations including employee relations, onboarding, and policy implementation
  • Managing grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution fairly and consistently
  • Supporting the performance management process, including appraisals and development planning
  • Identifying training needs and implementing targeted development programmes
  • Ensuring compliance with UK employment law, sponsorship regulations, and industry standards
  • Supporting the development of competitive compensation and benefits packages
  • Mentoring and developing the HR team to deliver a high-quality service
