Human Resources Manager

About the Role

REED HR NI is working with our client, based in Bangor, to appoint a Human Resources Manager who will lead and manage the strategic and operational HR functions of the organization. This pivotal role involves fostering a strong, positive people culture where HR acts as an enabler, ensuring alignment of all people resource activities with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Serve as an effective member of the Senior Team, creating positive engagement with staff and fostering a coaching mentality across HR processes.
  2. Manage the HR function to achieve objectives outlined in strategic and corporate plans.
  3. Collaborate with management to implement corporate strategies and business plans.
  4. Handle all aspects of the employee lifecycle and provide expertise on HR issues.
  5. Maintain, review, and promote HR policies and procedures, ensuring their effective and consistent implementation.
  6. Promote equality and diversity within HR practices.
  7. Manage HR-related risks, act as the ICO nominated person for Data Protection/GDPR, and lead the health and safety management system.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or higher.
  • Proven experience in HR management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and legal compliance, with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience managing the full employee lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of employment law, GDPR, and health and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and databases.
