About The Role

A generalist HR role providing support and advice to operational management on a full range of HR matters. Driving organisational performance and facilitating the company’s culture and values amongst managers and employees.

Working across multisite locations in your area, you will work in partnership with our area directors, home managers and employees. Reporting into the HR Business Partner. Key areas of responsibility will include: Ensuring an effective case management support service is provided to the group, building and maintaining relationships with the trade union, attending homes within group on a regular basis to support with HR issues, support operational management teams with and lead on change processes such as redundancies, consultations, home sales and closures and utilise organisational KPIs to drive activity in the group.

Supported by the Human Resources Helpdesk at our Central Support Office and line managing the HR Advisor for the group.

About You

Full or Part CIPD to level 5 qualified, driving licence, multisite operations experience in a HR generalist environment, familiar working within a unionised environment. Health/Social care experience advantageous.

You will be an excellent communicator with outstanding influencing skills and strong commercial acumen.

The ability to work effectively as part of a team, manage a high and complex workload, effectively challenge and make decisions are key components of this role.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor working in a generalist role covering ER case work and change management including TUPE is essential.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.

This position is a fixed term 12 months contract covering a large area in the South with travel required around the South, South East & South West and also possible travel to our head office.
