An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic and growing hospitality and entertainment business based in London. With a strong reputation in the food and experience-led events space, the company is expanding and looking for a skilled HR generalist to support this growth journey.

The role:

We’re looking for a confident and proactive HR Manager to provide full-spectrum generalist HR support to our operational teams and Head Office. You will work closely with senior managers, offering expert advice and ensuring consistent application of HR practices across the business. This role does not cover payroll, recruitment, or L&D – instead, the focus is on core HR processes, employee relations, systems, and compliance.

  • Lead and manage employee relations cases across all levels, ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes
  • Support department heads with performance management, disciplinary, grievance, and absence processes
  • Maintain and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation
  • Oversee the HR administration function, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance and coaching to line managers
  • Monitor and manage HR-related budgets in line with business procedures
  • Drive and support change management initiatives and HR projects aligned with business goals
  • Foster a positive, compliant, and inclusive working environment

Experience

  • CIPD Level 5 or above (essential)
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced hospitality or entertainment environment (essential)
  • Experience managing complex ER issues and working closely with senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable working autonomously, with excellent attention to detail and discretion
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solution-oriented with a practical, hands-on approach
