This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you’ll report to the Head of HR and work closely with the newly appointed CPO. You’ll lead and develop a small HR team, collaborate with stakeholders across the business, and drive both strategic and operational HR initiatives – spanning performance, engagement, learning, and people data.

  • Lead, support, and coach a small internal team – fostering collaborative and a high-performance culture within the People team
  • Deliver full generalist HR support across employee relations, performance, compensation input, talent planning, and compliance
  • Oversee learning & development – supporting the delivery of engaging, tailored training with support from a L&D Coordinator
  • Oversee recruitment ensuring timely hiring practices including job scoping, interview planning, and training on effective, fair interviewing techniques
  • Oversea the reporting function to track key metrics and translate data into insight to guide leadership decision-making
  • Lead and evolve processes to drive operational excellence
  • Contribute to initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, inclusion, and wellbeing

Looking for someone who combines people leadership with practical HR know-how and a willingness to roll up their sleeves.

  • HR generalist experience circa. 5-7 years, ideally in smaller, agile businesses or scale-ups
  • Prior people management skills and experience coaching junior team members
  • Data-savvy mindset with confidence interpreting and acting on HR metrics
  • Experience with UK employment law and HR compliance
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable navigating change, ambiguity, and evolving team needs
  • CIPD qualification preferred, but not essential

You’ll be part of a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture where your voice is heard and your impact is visible.
