Overview

REED HR NI is working with a client based in Bangor to appoint a Human Resources Manager. This role is pivotal in leading and managing the strategic and day-to-day HR functions of the organization, fostering a positive people culture, and ensuring HR activities align with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Serve as an effective member of the Senior Team, creating positive engagement with staff and fostering a coaching mentality across HR processes.
  2. Manage the Human Resources function to realize the objectives of strategic and corporate plans.
  3. Collaborate with management to deliver corporate strategies and business plans.
  4. Handle all aspects of the employee lifecycle and provide expertise on HR issues.
  5. Maintain, review, and promote HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistent implementation.
  6. Promote equality and diversity in HR matters.
  7. Manage HR-related risks, act as the ICO nominated person for Data Protection/GDPR, and lead health and safety management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • CIPD Qualified Level 5 minimum.
  • Proven experience in HR management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, legal compliance, and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience managing the full employee lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of employment law, GDPR, health and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and databases.
