HR Manager Part Time Flexible Hours, Big Impact -Office based

Location: South Chelmsford Must drive due to location

Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am 2:00pm (flexible)

Salary: GBP30,000 GBP35,000 per annum (pro-rata)

This is more than a box-ticking HR job. You ll be at the heart of the business, driving people strategy, enhancing team culture, and supporting ongoing growth in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Taking the lead across the entire employee lifecycle from attracting talent to seamless exits
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to ensure the right people are in the right roles
  • Promoting best practice around Health & Safety and preparing for audits
  • Running meaningful staff inductions, appraisals, and development reviews
  • Shaping and delivering training plans that support long-term employee growth
  • Providing trusted HR advice to managers and employees alike
  • Leading people-focused initiatives that align with business goals

What We re Looking For:

  • Solid HR experience, ideally in warehouse, logistics, or similar operational settings
  • Comfortable juggling day-to-day HR tasks and big-picture planning
  • Confident working with agency staff and managing outsourced recruitment partners
  • CIPD Level 5 or above (or working towards it)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • Great communicator, naturally organised, and a team-first mindset
