Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a passionate HR Manager to lead a high-performing HR team in the education sector. This full-time, permanent role includes responsibilities in employee relations and compliance, with a salary of up to £45,000. Qualifications

As a HR Manager, you will:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing HR team to deliver an exceptional people service
  • Building strong relationships with managers and senior leaders to embed great people practices
  • Overseeing employee relations, including complex casework and hearings
  • Ensuring compliance with safeguarding and safer recruitment standards (KCSIE)
  • Driving improvements in recruitment, onboarding, and workforce engagement
  • Developing people policies, toolkits, and training to support leadership capability
  • Using data and insights to inform strategic decision-making and planning

To be successful as a HR Manager, you will:

  • Hold a CIPD Level 5 as a minimum (Level 7 would be advantageous)
  • Have strong knowledge of employment law and safeguarding practices
  • A track record in delivering service improvements and managing complex ER cases
  • Experience in the education sector would be advantageous however, not essential
  • An understanding of KCSIE and Safer Recruitment practices

In return, we are offering a salary of up to 45,000 per annum. Please note, this is a full time, permanent position!
