HR Manager

Permanent, 35 hours per week

Grade 9 (£55,652 - £58,480)

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinkingHR Managerto play a key role in shaping our people strategy and help us make Queens Cross an even better place to work.

As HR Manager,you will:

  • Lead and develop a small HR team, ensuring effective delivery of all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and learning & development.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders, supporting organisational change and workforce planning.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance staff engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion across the Association.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, HR best practice, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive, collaborative, and high-performance workplace culture.
  • Lead our equality, diversity and inclusion strategy

We are looking for someone who is:

  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent) with significant HR management experience.
  • Skilled in influencing, coaching, and building trusted relationships at all levels.
  • Confident in handling complex HR issues with professionalism and integrity.
  • Passionate about people development and creating an inclusive, supportive workplace.
  • Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational delivery.
