Performance Management
- Oversee probation reviews and performance review processes.
- Support managers with Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
- Develop performance frameworks and management tools.
- Monitor performance trends and identify areas requiring intervention.
- Foster a culture of continuous feedback and professional development.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Develop attraction and retention strategies.
- Support succession planning across the businesses.
- Enhance onboarding and induction programmes.
- Build talent pipelines to support future business growth.
Learning & Development
- Identify organisational training and development needs.
- Design and implement learning and development programmes.
- Support management and leadership development initiatives.
- Create career progression pathways where appropriate.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning across the organisation.
Attendance, Wellbeing & Engagement
- Oversee attendance management processes.
- Support return-to-work meetings and attendance improvement plans.
- Monitor employee wellbeing and engagement.
- Implement initiatives to improve retention and workplace culture.
- Support flexible and hybrid working arrangements where appropriate.
Policies, Compliance & Governance
- Review and maintain HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Support GDPR compliance and confidentiality requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes and documentation.
Culture & Employee Experience

Skills & ExperienceEssential
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or above.
- Minimum of five years' experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor position.
- Strong employee relations experience.
- Experience managing disciplinary, grievance, investigation, and performance management processes.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law.
- Experience supporting managers within fast-paced business environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence, coach, and challenge professionally.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
- Experience supporting multiple businesses or business units.
- Experience within sales, financial services, professional services, or other high-growth organisations.
- Experience establishing HR functions, policies, and frameworks from the ground up.
- Experience implementing HR systems, reporting tools, and people analytics.
